Data Policy

This policy describes the information we process to enable the operation of the Novidá, NoviZap and Novidá Academy applications that are the applications that Novidá provides. 

What kind of information do we collect?

The types of information collected depend on how you use our Products. 

Something you and others do and provide.

• Information and content you provide. We collect the content, communications, and other information you provide when you use our Products, including when you register to create an account, create, or share content, send messages, or communicate with others. This can include information present or about the content you provide (such as metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. This may also include what you see through the features we provide, such as our camera so   that we can perform actions such as suggesting masks and filters that you might like or giving tips on using camera formats. Our systems automatically process the content and communications that you and others provide in order to analyze the context and content included in these items for the purposes described below. 
• Your use. We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the type of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you perform; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities. For example, we record when you are using and the last time you used our Products, what posts, videos, and other content you viewed on our Products. We also collect information about how you use features like our camera.
• What others do and information they provide about you. We also receive and analyze content, communications, and information that others provide when they use our Products. This may include information about you, such as when others share or comment on a photo of you, send you a message, or upload, sync, or import your contact information.

Device information

As described below, we collect information from and about computers, phones, and other web-connected devices that you use that integrate with our Products, and we combine that information from the different devices you use. For example, we use the information collected about using our Products on your phone to better personalize the content you see when using our Products on another device, such as your laptop or tablet, or to assess whether you, in response to an ad we display on your phone, acted on another device. The information we obtain from these devices includes:

• • Device attributes: information such as operating system, hardware and software versions, battery level, signal strength, available storage space.
  • Device operations: Information about operations and behaviors performed on the device, such as whether a window is in the foreground or background, or what movements are made with the mouse (which can help distinguish humans from bots).
  • Device signals: Bluetooth signals and information about nearby Wi-Fi hotspots, beacons, and cell towers.
  • Device settings data: Information that you allow us to receive through the device settings you activate, such as access to your GPS location, camera, or photos.

• Cookie data: Cookie data stored on your device, including cookie settings and IDs.

Partner information.

Advertisers, app developers, and publishers can send us information they use, including our plug-ins, Login, our APIs, and SDKs. 

How do we use this information?

We use this information as described below and to provide the produtos and related services as well as to support them. 

Here is how to: provide, customize, and enhance our Products.

We use the information we have to offer our Products, including to personalize features and content and provide suggestions to you within our products. To create Custom Products that are unique and relevant to you, we use your connections, preferences, activities, and interests based on the data we collect and that we become aware of through you. The way you use and interact with our Products; and the people or places you are connected to and are interested in on and off our Products. 

Product and Device Information: We connect information about your activities across assorted Products and devices to provide a more personalized and consistent experience across all products you consume, wherever you use them. 

Location-related information: We use location-related information, such as your current location, to provide productivity analytics for each individual, team, and customer company, and customize and enhance our Products for you and others. Location-related information may be based on the precise location of the device (if you have given us permission to collect this data) and location via bluetooth.

• Product research and development: We use the information we must develop, evaluate, and improve our Products, including conducting surveys and surveys, testing new features and products, and solving problems with them.

Promote security and integrity.

We use the information we must verify accounts and activities, combat harmful conduct, detect, and prevent spam and other negative experiences, maintain the integrity of our own.

Communicate with you.

We use the information we must send you marketing communications, to communicate with you about our Products and to inform you about our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond when you contact us.

How is this information shared?

Your information is shared with others in the following ways:

Content that others share or share about you

You should consider who you choose to share with, because people who can view your activities on our Products may decide to share them with third parties within and outside of our Products, including people and companies outside the audience you have shared with. For example, when you share a post or send a message to specific friends or accounts, they may download, take a screenshot, or reshare such content with third parties on or off our Products, in person or in virtual reality experiences, in addition, when you comment on the post or react to someone else’s content,  your comment or reaction is visible to anyone who can see that person’s content, and they can change the audience later.

Information about your active status or presence on our Products.

People on your networks may see signs telling you if you are active in us.

New owner.

If ownership or total or partial control of our Products or their assets changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.

Partners who use our analytics services.

We provide aggregate statistics and insights that help people and businesses understand how users are engaging with their posts, videos, and other content within our products. 

Measurement partners.

We share information about you with companies that aggregate them to provide measurement analysis and reporting to our partners.

Suppliers and service providers.

We provide information and content to suppliers and service providers that enable the operation of our business, whether providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our Products are used, providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting surveys.

Law enforcement or legal requests.

We share information with law enforcement authorities or in response to legal requests in the circumstances described below.

How do I track or delete information about me?

And request the deletion or editing of your data. The request will be verified by our legal body and by the client who hired Novidá to collect this data.

How will we notify you of changes to this policy?

We will notify you before making changes to this policy and give you the opportunity to review the revised policy before deciding to continue using our Products.

Brazil Privacy Notice

This section applies to personal data processing activities in accordance with Brazilian laws and supplements this Data Policy.

In accordance with the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data of Brazil (“LGPD”), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, in addition to authorizing our processing of them and requesting their portability. In certain circumstances, you also have the right to challenge and restrict the processing of your personal data or to revoke your consent when processing data provided based on that consent. This Data Policy provides information about how we share data with third parties.
